I've really been craving
Cabrillo lately.
They have some excellent tidepools;
the best around.

Full of life since they're in a natural resource reservation.
I love the ocean.

Dead or Alive rule.
So much.
I think I've been hearing them everywhere,
even at the gothclub we went to Saturday.
Yay!

Make your Own Disco Ball [06 Jan 2006|02:35am]
You'll need... A stryofoam ball (this will be the size of the disco ball), scissors, a bunch of old “free AOL” CDs or mirror wrapping paper, marker, stapler, ruler, glue gun, string bla

To make it... Take your marker and draw a small circle on top of the stryofoam ball. This will help you remember where the string should go. Take out the free AOL CDs or mirror wrapping paper and use a ruler to make the CDs or wrapping paper in to even squares (about a centimeter to an inch long). Cut the squares out and put them in a bowl so you don’t lose them.

This is where it gets tricky. The next thing you have to do is glue all the CD or wrapping paper squares on the styrofoam ball. The way to do it is to put a little dot of glue on the square and hold it on the styrofoam ball. If you are using wrapping paper, you might want to put about an inch of glue on the stryofoam, then press about five squares on to the ball. Don’t cover the stryofoam ball with glue and then put the square pieces on. That will give you a sticky mess! Gluing the pieces on will take a while, especially if you have really small squares. Don’t worry about getting perfect rows. After you get all your pieces glued on and everything has dried, take the piece of string. Find the center of the string. Put the center of the string on the disco ball and take the stapler and staple it down. Go to your room and hang the disco ball by the string. If the string is too long, you might have to cut it. If the string is too short, you can take another piece of string and tie it to the string attached to the disco ball and hang it from your ceiling. Ta da! You just made a disco ball.

So I have the best cat in the world.
I just don't know what goes on, she loves to play.
She was running after me, back and forth with her purr/meowing talking noises.
Like a tiger going to hamstring me or something, more like a little wolf.
It made me shriek and laugh, I think that was only the 2 shriek for the last year that came out of me.
Like really laugh, I'm sure it was silly.
Running around with Priss hiding behind the chair and table, dashing out after me
and clapping her arms on my leg.
Scary because you never know if a cat will bite/claw.

[12 Dec 2005|11:13pm]
This morning I drove down Coast Highway and the 5 South from my parent's timeshare, after visiting last night. It's real nice on the beach, which you can see all of the bonfire pits just a step away from the poolside.

Went swimming but mostly hung out in the jacuzzi because I'm a California punk, it's cold out these nights!Hah.

My little brother pretended to be Superman and swim around, the kids missed me and I got a lot of hugs kisses and ninja/jedi karate chops and legs cut off.

Anyhow, as I mentioned, I drove down Coast Highway this morning and it was truly beautiful.

I left about 6 this morning, and it was cold but the whole way is along the beach and you can see the sun come up with those little whispy spun clouds that light up,

and they played Dear Prudence, the original and Siouxsie's on the radio.

Early morning is my favorite time of day, always has been. When I was a kid I used to set my alarm clock for 4 am and putter about, doing my homework watching cartoons on the spanish channel and looking for butterflys in the blackberry bushes outside.

This was in second grade.

I still usually wake up that early, now I just shut my eyes again. Growing up will do that to you.

Anyhow, if you haven't taken a drive down the coast it's the time to do it, when it's so crisp with the cold.

Especially in a little VW bug.
